New P.E. Class from Gamepoint Athletics

Starting January 7th, the Loudoun Field Center will launch it’s Winter Program with an 8-week Physical Education program:

Who: Homeschooled students ages 10-17
Where: The Loudoun Field Center Recreational Fields and Chapel
13951 Freedom Center Ln
Lucketts, VA 20176
When: Fridays from 10:00 am to 11:30 am, from January 7, 2021 through to February 25, 2021
Cost: $115 for all 8 weeks.


Details:

GamePoint Athletics offers a robust PE program for middle and high school students in a friendly and non-judgemental learning environment.  Students will participate in many cooperative learning activities that work on group problem solving skills.  Skills that require intense teamwork and persistence to achieve a set objective. Students will also play in fun traditional and non-traditional PE games, and learn and practice potential lifetime physical activities and skills. Additionally, students will be engaged in physical activities that are designed to improve present levels of aerobic and anaerobic fitness. 

The Gamepoint Athletics PE program emphasizes many character traits that transcend sports or physical fitness.  Students will grow as upstanding human beings as they discuss and practice virtues such as perseverance, humility, patience, courage, etc.

2021-2022 Seed Program

*** For the 2021-2022 school year, the Loudoun Field Center is offering a “seed” program with M, W, F, full-curriculum support through our partner, Bridgeway Academy. Students go through our full evaluation and customized curriculum process, and convene at the Field Center three days a week for 33 weeks to complete their academic work with the support of Field Center Staff. There is a limit of only 15 spaces in our seed program. As programs are added throughout the year, including our Great Conversations program, Vocational Science, Fine Arts, Physical Education, etc, our seed program students will get to participate in the new courses for substantially reduced rates. ***

***The tuition for the 2021-2022 “seed” program is $6000 for the entire year.***
