What does it mean to be in touch with nature?

In the modern technological age we talk a lot about nature, our relationship to it, and how we best can interact with it.
For our first Civics and Community Discussion, we’re hosting award-winning winemaker Doug Fabbioli, a tireless advocate for the rural economy, workforce training and careers in agriculture. The New Ag School at Fabbioli Cellars is a great addition to Loudoun and a great partner to the Field Center.

Our talk will center around the business of agriculture, what it means to be touch with our surroundings in nature and be stewards of the environment.

We’re looking for kids, from 7th grade to 12th grade to participate in the conversation. Parents are welcome to observe and enjoy networking time as well.

How else should a teenager spend his or her days?
