Leesburg Chess Club is back to school! To launch the year, we’re offering a day where you have our permission to opt out of Loudoun County Public Schools for two hours. I’ll write you an excuse. They won’t accept it, but who cares; they’re your kids, right?
For those who maintain the presence of their kids (homeschoolers), it’s just another day… and we’re going to try to make the Second Wednesday of every month our Chess Club day… BUT…
We’ll be moving to the Loudoun Field Center (otherwise known as the Freedom Center) Chapel!
There’s a basketball and volleyball court, but hey… seriously… we’re there to play chess. Please invite people to this first one. We have plenty of room.
(Remember this is a private group, so if you want any of your chess friends to see this, they have to join the group.)
RSVP so we can make sure and bring enough sets. Bring your own if you have a favorite (NOT the “Mario Brothers” set. It’s evil.)
