Introduction to Astronomy and Astrophysics at the Loudoun Field Center is an opportunity to introduce a variety of different sciences and scientific fields through a study of the stars and planets. We’ll learn a little about the history of the field from a “Classical” point of view, while also learning basic physics and chemistry ideas through the “Four Forces.”

Class Goals (Fall, Winter, Spring):
Introduction to Astronomy and Astrophysics at the Loudoun Field Center is an opportunity to introduce a variety of different sciences and scientific fields through a study of the stars and planets. We’ll learn a little about the history of the field from a “Classical” point of view, while also learning basic physics and chemistry ideas through the “Four Forces.”

The Spring Program is 10 Weeks, beginning on Thursday March 2, and going every Thursday through March 30, then two weeks off for Spring Break, and every Thursday from April 21 through May 18.
11:00am to 12:15pm. Ages 10-17 (~Grades 5 to 11).
